6:18 p.m. We have learned the bus driver, a 63-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition after suffering a diabetic seizure. However, his condition may be upgraded soon. Three students were also taken to the hospital to be checked out. Work crews are working to secure the building. 5:04 p.m. School officials now report that no children were injured in the crash. The driver was injured and taken to the hospital. One of the students on the bus said he thought the driver was going to do a U-turn when the bus suddenly crashed. The student was able to help that bus driver get off of the bus. 4:20 p.m. A school bus has crashed into an apartment building on Detroit's east side. 7 Action News crews are gathering information at the scene. Children were reportedly on the bus at the time of the crash.
