Our members maximize the value of real estate investments and promote superior management through education and information sharing. An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management is the home for all industry professionals connected to real estate management and the only organization serving both the multifamily and commercial sectors.
Founded in Chicago in 1933, the organization sets the standard for best practices in real-estate management. At the beginning of 2014, the Institute of Real Estate Management membership included 19,000 individual members and 580 corporate members.
